By plane – Verona “Valerio Catullo” Airport is 11 km far from the city centre. From the Verona Airport to “Verona Porta Nuova” train station a shuttle service operates daily, at 5.35 am, 6.30 then every 20 minutes until 11.10 pm (https://www.aeroportoverona.it/en/transport/verona-airlink.html). The ticket is available directly on board (6 Euros). “Verona Porta Nuova” railway station is 1.5 Km far from the city centre and 2.5 far from the conference venue.
From the railway station, you can get to the conference venue either by bus 11, 12, 13, 30, 51, or 52 from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm (bus 90, 91, or 92 from 9.00 pm to 2.00 am). Tickets are valid within 90 minutes from on board validation and are available at tobacconists for € 1.30, directly on board for € 2.00, or online with the app “TicketBus Verona“. Get off at the third stop after the “Ponte Navi” bridge on the river (in Via XX Settembre, just before Piazza XVI Ottobre), walk for 240 m toward Via Arduino and turn right onto Via Arduino. After 66 m, turn again right onto Via Cantarane and go straight on for 150 m. Santa Marta Building will be on the left. By your own car – There is a public parking inside the University of Verona at 1 km from the conference venue (link to parking website). To reach the parking just text on your GPS: “Parcheggio Saba Polo Zanotto” in Verona – Viale dell’Università, 4. The parking is under the University building called “Polo Zanotto” and it is open 24 hours. Once you have parked the car, you should walk straight along Via dell’Artigliere for about 200 m, turn right into Via Mazza, walk straight for 400 m. Santa Marta Building will be on the right. Enter the gate between the yellow walls and walk along the tree-lined path until you see the Building in front of you (see here on Google Maps).
Alternatively, there is another parking closed to Porta Vescovo, but it offers a limited number of park places (see here on Google Maps).
